Responsibilities:
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionalsEvaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patientsPreparing, administering and recording prescribed medicationsChanging dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVsAdjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurementsMonitoring patients' vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely mannerCollaborating on discharge planning with the healthcare teamAnswering questions and educating patients and their families on surgical procedures and post-surgery careMaintaining and updating patient files, medical charts, and health records.
Adhering to best nursing practices, standards, and protocols.
Requirements:
Current unencumbered compact RN License or RN License in the state of assignment At least 2-years of recent experience as a Licensed RN in a hospital or acute setting COVID-19 Vaccination or Declination with satisfactory proof of exemption Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) Immunizations/Titers (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, Negative TB, etc.
